Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Regina Rae Whitfield Kekessi, who serves patients throughout the State of Ohio.

Dr. Kekessi, a trusted obstetrician-gynecologist, specializes in minimally invasive procedures including robotic surgery, Essure, Adiana, and tubal occlusion. She then went on to earn her Master of Public Health degree from Emory University in 1996, followed by her medical degree from Rush Medical College in 2004. As for her training, she completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2005 and 2008, respectively.

Regina R. Whitfield Kekessi, MD, MPH, FACOG, is a 2004-graduate of The Rush University Medical College in Chicago, IL. Her postgraduate training includes her obstetrics and gynecology residency served at the Miami Valley Hospital and Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH (2004-2008). Dr. Kekessi attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she remains a professional member of the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Cincinnati Medical Association. Dr. Kekessi completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology / Chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans (1992), followed by her Master of Public Health degree in Behavioral Science and Health Education at Emory University in Atlanta, GA (1996). Dr. Regina is a devoted wife, caring mother of one who lives by the mantra “every day is a new day to make a change”. She dedicates her spare time to traveling the world with her family.
